① Financial support for doctoral students
We offer an incentive that helps students to be financially independent and allows them to concentrate on their studies.
- For those who pass the doctoral course advancement assessment:
1,280,000 yen per year will be provided in total.
(an RA salary paid by academic supervisors plus the TAC-MI scholarship) - For those who pass the qualifying examination (QE) :
Up to 2,000,000 yen per year will be provided in total.
(an RA salary paid by academic supervisors plus the TAC-MI scholarship)
The amount will change incrementary in line with students’academic performance.
Students receiving TAC-MI Scholarship can apply Science Tokyo Tsubame Scholarship additionally.
Science Tokyo Tsubame Scholarship: 480,000 yen or 635,400 yen per year will be provided.
② Financial support for recipients of scholarship that restricts accepting other sources of financial aid, JSPS DC1/DC2, MEXT scholarship foreign students, Students selected for “Science Tokyo SPRING” or “Science Tokyo BOOST”
Addition to these economic support, We will pay RA salary.
We are fully committed to supporting students in applying to the “JSPS Research Fellowship for Young Scientists”,”Science Tokyo SPRING” and “Science Tokyo BOOST”.
