Finally, the ceremony concluded with words from student representatives of each academy. On behalf of the TAC-MI graduate, Tomoki Hirohata commented “Looking back on the three and a half years I spent at the TAC-MI program, I realize that we have learned and experienced a lot about informatics. It was a great experience for us to acquire expertise and work on practical problem-solving through TAC-MI programs such as Materials Simulations/Informatics and the Practice School, etc. In addition, the TAC-MI program provided us with opportunities to interact with domestic and international researchers, including people from companies, which gave me a good chance to think about what to do after the doctoral program. In the future, I would like to contribute to solving social issues with both materials and informatics, and I am sure that all graduates think the same way. Finally, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all the professors who have given us valuable learning opportunities, to the administrative staff for their kind support, and to my invaluable friends whom I have come to know and work hard with through TAC-MI, and we look forward to further success of TAC-MI.”
