On behalf of the TAC-MI graduate, GAO CHENGUANG commented “It is a distinguished honor to be a TAC-MI program graduate. Today is a remarkable time for us to complete our doctoral study. From the TAC-MI program, tracing back to the four and half years of cherished time, I learned how to integrate materials science and informatics to push the boundaries of research and innovation. The coursework and lab rotation have taught me the technologies and skills needed for material science and informatics. Meanwhile, the practice school and international forum have enriched the sense of looking beyond my own disciplines and working with diverse perspectives to create real-world solutions. Moreover, the invaluable collaborating experience and connections with TAC-MI faculties, students, industrial and international mentors, which would be precious support for previous TAC-MI journey and future life. Moving forward, I believe that we are committed to continual learning and enable to utilize our skills from the TAC-MI program for the advancement of science, technology, and society in the principle of material + informatics. As new PhD graduates, let us embrace this responsibility and work together toward a better future.”
