AY2021 Spring Graduation Ceremony for Tokyo Tech Academies for the WISE Program

Seven students completed Tokyo Tech Academy for Convergence of Materials and Informatics (TAC-MI). Six students who completed the TAC-MI program and two students who completed the Tokyo Tech Academy for Super Smart Society(SSS)program in academic year 2021 were honored in a graduation ceremony at Hisao & Hiroko Taki Plaza on Ookayama Campus on March 28, 2022. The ceremony was held in hybrid format for both in-person and online participants.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Tokyo Tech President Kazuya Masu and Executive Vice President for Education Tetsuya Mizumoto (in last academic year) gave the graduates congratulations. After the program, participants were introduced individually, congratulations were given by TAC-MI Director Takeo Yamagchi and SSS Director Kei Sakaguchi. Finaly the ceremony concluded with words from student representatives of the various academies. On behalf of the TAC-MI graduates, Masari Watanabe expressed his gratitude and future aspirations.

Members of faculty, mentors, and staff involved in the TAC-MI programs look forward to seeing how the latest program graduates exercise their problem-solving ability, global leadership and expertise of “materials × information”, on the world stage.
