Furthermore, the ceremony concluded with words from student representatives of each academy.

On behalf of the TAC-MI graduate, Yuta Hatano commented “Through TAC-MI, I was fortunate to encounter many invaluable people, including professors, industry mentors, staff members, and fellow students. In particular, the Practice School and International Forum provided opportunities to spend significant time together and gain truly meaningful experiences. In addition to acquiring skills in materials and informatics and experiencing their applications in industry, we also faced and overcame various challenges together—ranging from academic difficulties to more personal moments, such as dealing with hangovers or supporting friends through heartbreak. These experiences allowed us to build strong relationships and a sense of mutual support. Among many memorable moments, I especially recall the opportunity to share a hot spring experience with Professor Yamaguchi, the program director, during the International Forum, where I had the privilege of engaging in meaningful conversations. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Professor Yamaguchi, as well as to all the professors and industry mentors who generously shared their time with us and provided thoughtful guidance. As a researcher in engineering, I have always aspired to contribute to society. At the same time, through TAC-MI, I have come to value pursuing research driven by my own curiosity. TAC-MI provided me with essential skills, including data analysis and molecular simulation, as well as perspectives on how to apply these techniques to real-world challenges, enabling me to pursue both of these goals. I am deeply grateful for the experiences I have gained through TAC-MI. I hope to continue cherishing these connections as I grow further as a researcher.”

And finally, EVP for Institute Strategy Jun-ichi Imura offered his heartfelt congratulations to the graduates.
